Before:
This 1920’s Monroe home had a large kitchen, but was configured in an inefficient manner and without venting for the stove, plus the homeowners were ready to update the cabinets and overall look.
After:
As you can see in the photos below, Innovative Kitchen & Bath completed extensive work to remodel this kitchen.
We built a new island with a bar with a Maple butcher-block countertop. We moved the stove and oven into the island and added a vent above the stove. We also moved the refrigerator to the corner where the stove had been, and built custom cabinets around the refrigerator. Because we moved the stove, we were able to add extra cupboards and counter space (always a plus). We installed new Quartz countertops with a simple backsplash of the same material, as well as new Vinyl tile’s on the floor. The new oval sink and stainless steel kitchen faucet are not fancy, but very classy – they match the new hardware on the cabinets, as well. We built and installed new cabinets with large drawers (more accessible). The homeowner was tired of the blue walls, so we helped them pick these warm orange and yellow shades of paint. In addition to high quality materials and an updated look, the overall functionality of this Monroe kitchen was improved.
The owners of this Monroe home were thrilled and provided this feedback for us:
“This was my first experience remodeling. It was with great trepidation that I started my kitchen remodel after hearing numerous stories about everything that could go wrong. My experience was so far from those stories that my friends are amazed that I had nothing to complain about. That’s right – Innovative Kitchen and Bath were on the money, on time, and a pleasure to work with. The result was stunning and the experience was way more pain free than I dared imagine. That’s not to say an complete make-over of my kitchen was easy, but my project manager, Will, was so thoughtful and considerate as well as competent, that the inconvenience was easy to manage.
I was impressed with Rob when I first met him at the Seattle Home Show. He was sincere and not one of the “run you over” salespersons I encountered at all the other booths. Rob didn’t try to oversell me, but instead focused on helping me clarify my objectives within my budget. When Barb came to do the free consultation, she was personable and definitely engaged and willing to listen. Her suggestions were critical to the end result so her input was valuable to me even before I was a client. Throughout the entire process everyone I dealt with was responsive and gave me honest input so it was easy to make the quick decisions that always come along when something unexpected comes up.
I highly recommend IKB for a quality job that meets your budget but exceeds your dreams.”
